Top 5 Most Addicting iPhone/iPod Touch Games

Apple recently had a section on its App Store which included its most addicting games. I did agree with some of them, but I thought a couple should have definitely made the list. So I decided to do my own top 5 most Addicting iPhone/iPod Touch games that I have played.

5.             Fruit Ninja

I just bought this game not to long ago and I just can’t put it down. The object of the game is to slice up as much fruit as you can in either a specified amount of time (in Zen Mode) or as many as you can without missing three or hitting a bomb (Classic Mode). You would think that after awhile, doing the same thing over and over again would get repetitive, but somehow I just keep coming back.

4.             Skee-Ball

This game is simple, but holds caffeine like addiction power. Who doesn’t love a good game of Skee-Ball anyways? I have played the heck out of this game; so much that I had to take a break from it for a while. What you do is play skee-ball (obviously) and get tickets for how well you do. When you get tickets, you can then go to the prize store and get everything from a pack of gum to new skee-balls to use in-game. This is a great game that I would recommend for anyone with some time to kill.

3.             Angry Birds

The catapult concept of this game is not a new one, yet they do it so well it almost feels new. Not only is this game super addicting, but there are also a ridiculous amount of levels that could keep you occupied for hours while bored at work looking for something to do. There is a reason this game has taken over the top spot on the App Store ever since it came out.

2.             Doodle Jump

This game is almost said to define the “addicting games” for iPod Touch/iPhone games category. Ever since Doodle Jump has been out it has been on the Top 25 list on the App store and for good reason. The object of the game is to keep the little Doodle man from falling down by landing on small platforms and getting several different types of power-ups along the way. This very simple concept somehow can keep the most ADD of us mesmerized for hours. This is just simply a great game that everybody should own, especially for only $.99.

1.             Plants vs. Zombies

When my girlfriend gets hooked on a game you KNOW it is addicting. For a solid 3 days all she wanted to do was grab my iPod Touch whenever she could get a chance just to see what was next in this game. Plants vs. Zombies has to be one of my favorite games I’ve played in awhile. Once I started playing this game, there was no stopping until I had beaten it completely. The controls, the concept, the game-play, everything about this game is great and you should definitely check it out.
