It's been awhile since my last post; I have been completely bogged down with school and work so I haven't really had much free time to spare. But, amongst all of that, I still found something new to me on the internet that I would like to share.When I was young I would go to this website called PunkRockVids.com to find all the new and up coming music. PunkRockVids.com is still around and I do advise you to check it out, but this new site I've found blows it out the water as a new music finding entity.
The site is called "The Hype Machine" and it works by compiling music blog posts and allowing the user to scope out the new music that is out there. There are many great features, like the ability to vote on the song as a favorite, buy it directly from what ever source you would like, and going directly to the blog in which the song came from to get the whole scoop on the song. If you are into new music as much as I am, then you're going to love this website.
They also have a radio program which showcases the best in new music. I have it embedded at the bottom of this post so you should definitely check it out.
