My Revolution Playlist

In light of the great response I received from my previous post, "The Top 10 Beatles Songs of All Time", I thought I would make another music list post. However, this time, I thought it would be cool to make a playlist of my favorite Revolution based songs. Now before you go putting me in a box, I am no Che Guevara follower nor do I believe in Communism or any other thing your favorite news station says about people who question the government. I believe democracy is definitely the way to go, IF the people exercise their right and let their voices heard. I still, however, believe that everyone deserves the basic necessities of life (i.e. food, shelter, health care, clothing, etc.) and that our government is not giving that need to everyone. Everyone is not born equal, nor are they born with equal opportunities to succeed at life, so we should at least supply everyone with that which they need to survive. It's easy to say that we are slipping into the bowels of socialism on this issue if you
have all your basic amenities for life and are not bent over hungry and homeless. With that said, I do not believe we need to overthrow the government, but I do think that we as a society should yet again let our voices be heard for those less fortunate than ourselves and let our government know that we think that everyone should have the basic right of life. No matter how much green paper and shiny metal given value by people it takes, life is precious and should be protected, no matter what the cost. What separates the value of Monopoly money from US currency......YOU.

With all that Idealism out the way,  I have created a playlist to represent my views and which I think will at least stir you to ask more questions of your government and actually do a little more research on the issues and not take what the corporate media feeds you to be the complete truth. Tell me if you like it, and if you have any songs you feel needs to be added, feel free to comment them.
